Your ExperienceContact
Make contact with us through our online form, via email, or give us a call. Please include your site and civil (also known as drainage for some builders) plans for quoting. We will be in contact with you within the next 24 hours (on business days) to discuss what stage you are at in your build, your expected completion date, and which trades you are looking to engage to finish your home. We will then discuss our process, your selections where applicable, and what we can offer you before confirming whether you would like to proceed with us. Set Up
If you decide that you would like to go ahead with Handover Hub's trade management service, a non-refundable initial administrative fee of $100 is payable. You are not locked into any contracts or obliged to accept any quotes, this fee just covers the administrative work involved in creating your portfolio, obtaining your quotes and building your package. We know that many businesses will hand out free quotes however we are committed to providing a personalised, professional product and will go above and beyond to get to know you and your job. This fee is subtracted from your deposit if you proceed with us and helps to ensure that our valuable time and experience is spent obtaining the best options for genuine customers looking to benefit from our premium management service. Your personal administrator will contact you with a package quote built from the best available quotes for all your services. These will be handpicked from the most cost-effective prices for the best work and availability of the contractor within your timeframe and bundled into an overall package for your job. This will be valid for 30 days. If you accept the package quote, we then require a deposit to secure our full trade management service and lock in your fixed price which will be valid for 12 months from the date of payment. If this time period expires prior to the commencement of your work due to build readiness, we will advise you and need to requote your work. If you do not accept the updated quote, your deposit will be refunded to you minus a further $50 administrative fee. The deposit amount is governed by the Building Work Contractor's Act 1995 and is dependent on your total package price: Up to $20,000: $1,000 Over $20,000: 5% of Total Your initial administrative fee payment will also be deducted from your deposit amount. Your allocated supervisor will take over the management of your trades, and you will receive a booking timeline of when you can expect your work to be completed including the different access each will require. You will be able to check in on your job and contact your supervisor throughout with any questions. Regarding invoicing, your job will be split into four clear stages, and as each stage is completed, you will be invoiced by Handover Hub directly. This means you won't have to receive multiple different invoices for each contractor and supplier or have various amounts coming in at random times as they finish their work - you will only receive them from one place, and you will know when to expect them. These payments will total the accepted package minus your administrative fee and deposit. Stage 1: Deposit Stage 2: Progress Payment 40% Stage 3: Progress Payment 40% Stage 4: Completion 20% Handover

Your information will be allocated to our administrative staff who contact you within 24 hours (on business days) and run through our process with you in more detail, ensure they have all the plans and information (such as engineering specifications, estate design guidelines and your own selections) they need to create your personal job portfolio, identify a timeline within which the work will be required, and confirm whether you'd like to proceed with obtaining quotes for the work requested and any extras you may like to consider. Upon receipt of the initial $100 administrative fee, we liaise with our hub of qualified and experienced preferred contractors to obtain quotes for all aspects of your job to engineering specifications at a minimum (or further depending on your selection requests) and build a package within your portfolio to communicate to you rather than feeding them all in separately. Upon acceptance of the package and receipt of your deposit, you will be allocated a supervisor who will be in touch with you and oversee all trade management and quality control throughout your job. The contractors whose quotes were selected for the package will be engaged to perform the work quoted, and a booking timeline will be implemented to manage the completion of work and a constant flow of communication between trades to ensure smooth transitions between each stage. If your quote expires prior to work commencing due to build readiness, requoting will be undertaken automatically within one week of expiration. Your supervisor will also be in contact as required with updates regarding any delays or complications, however our aim is to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible so will look to identify variations such as rock or concrete at the time of quoting, and factoring disruptions such as inclement weather into the booking timeline. Making It Happen
Your supervisor will maintain contact with the trades and check regularly to ensure it is being completed to a high standard, as well as a site visit and meeting with you for a final check at the completion of the job to ensure that the finished product is as agreed when signing up. The supervisor will contact the office to confirm completion of each invoicing stage, and these invoices will be forwarded to you based on the agreed invoicing schedule. Handover
